About me

I've been a professional communicator for more than 25 years. My experience includes communicating for organizations in both the public and private sectors, across the fields of arts & culture, higher education, government & policy, and politics. I've served in leadership roles and part of executive teams since 2007. My strengths include crisis communications, strategic communications, public relations & reputation management, marketing & branding, and written communications. I have a BA in English and a BA in Psychology from St. Catherine University in St. Paul, MN, and a MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Alaska Anchorage.

During my free time, I make ceramic art in my home workspace, Little Survival Studio. My work has been featured in exhibits at Georgia Blue Gallery and International Gallery of Contemporary Art. My creative work can be viewed at www.littlesurvivalstudio.com.

Born and raised in the Midwest, I have lived in Alaska for more than 20 years. I am so grateful to call this beautiful state my home.
